A Little Fall Glam, a Little Business Reset.
Hello Beauties,
As I’m sneaking in some business time while mommying and doing all the things, I wanted to talk to you ladies about a little fall glam and a little business.
We’re officially in Q4, and over here, we’re gearing up for year 15 of King Elizabeth Makeup Artistry. Which is still insane to me! Fifteen years of beauty, business, growth, and showing up, even when life is doing the absolute most, literally. As we get ready for this next chapter, I wanted to give you beauties a fall checklist. A little refresh for your makeup bag, your space, and those goals you still have time to make happen.

1. Edit your makeup bag and get into some color.
Clean your brushes, check your products for expiration, and move those summer shades to the back of the bag. Bring your plum and berry blushes, burnt-orange shadows, and oxblood lips to the front.
One seasonal accent can refresh your whole look. You don’t have to change everything—try a berry blush with your everyday makeup or let a rich lip color be the moment.
And do not be afraid to try some color! Yes, I know a nude lip is always on trend, but let’s get into some color on this beautiful melanin.
2. Give your skin a little extra attention.
As the season changes, your skin’s needs can change, too. If you’re noticing dryness, give your skin a little more moisture before reaching for more coverage. Prep with moisturizer and, if it’s part of your routine, eye cream before applying foundation and concealer. Give your skincare a moment to settle before going in with your makeup.
And don’t forget your sunscreen, beauties. That step stays in the routine all year round.
3. Give your home and business the same attention.
Your makeup bag isn’t the only thing that deserves a reset. A cleaner, more organized space can give you room to create, think, and show up for yourself.
That new business idea you keep putting off? Those posts sitting in your camera roll?
It’s time to unload the clip, my love.
Choose one or two goals to finish before the year is out. Clear off that desk, make the plan, post the content, or take the first step toward that idea you keep talking yourself out of.
You don’t have to do everything at once, but give yourself something specific to move toward. Because let’s be for real: Christmas is tomorrow, and Thanksgiving was yesterday. That’s how fast this year feels like it’s moving!
Time is moving. Move with it, but in the direction of progress.
Now I have to run, ladies. I promise I’ll be back more consistently in Q4, but first, I have to prep for Brooklyn’s fall fest sleepover and picture day this week. And y’all KNOW I do not play around with a photo opportunity!
Until next time, beauties.
Jessica Elizabeth
P.S. Holiday season is approaching fast, the best time to book is early. You can book as far in advance as you'd like.
