What is Life? : Updates on all things King

Over the last few months, life has been moving incredibly fast, both personally and professionally. Between motherhood, entrepreneurship, community involvement, and managing multiple businesses, I have truly been balancing so many moving parts at once. There have been moments where I have felt stretched thin, exhausted, and overwhelmed, but also deeply grateful for everything that continues to grow around me.

This season alone has been one of the busiest periods of my career. Prom season, graduation season, and wedding season have all arrived at the same time, which means long days, even longer nights, early mornings, and nonstop appointments. Behind every completed glam appointment, event, flyer, email, and social media post are countless hours of preparation, sacrifice, dedication, and faith.

At the same time, I have also been running Brooklyn's Swim Club, which is currently servicing over 200 children and adults each week. Watching this program continue to grow has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Being trusted by so many families, helping children build confidence in the water, and creating safe spaces for people to learn such an important life skill has reminded me why I started in the first place.

Building King Elizabeth Makeup Artistry has never been just about makeup for me. It has always been about confidence, transformation, luxury, creativity, and helping women feel beautiful from the inside out. What began as a passion has evolved into something so much bigger than I could have imagined.

In addition to growing both businesses, I have also continued pouring into community work through initiatives like Slay Giving. Giving back to families, women, and children in the community has become one of the most meaningful parts of my journey. This year, I am especially excited to be offering a full day of complimentary prom makeup services at my local high school so students can feel confident, celebrated, and beautiful on such a special milestone in their lives. As I continue to grow, I want everything connected to my name and my businesses to have purpose behind it.

I will be honest and say that balancing everything has not been easy. There are days where I question how I am going to accomplish everything on my plate. There are moments where the pressure feels heavy. But despite the challenges, I also feel myself entering a new season in life.

A season of growth.A season of elevation.A season of structure, intention, and expansion.

I have been working quietly behind the scenes on new ideas, stronger systems, branding improvements, future projects, and ways to continue giving my clients and supporters the best possible experience. I am learning that growth is not only about success. It is also about resilience, discipline, consistency, and continuing to move forward even during difficult moments.

To everyone who has booked an appointment, referred a client, enrolled in swim lessons, attended an event, shared a post, donated, supported a fundraiser, or simply encouraged me with kind words, thank you. Your support means more than you will ever know.

This next chapter is about becoming better in every area of my life. Better as a businesswoman. Better as a mother. Better as a leader. Better creatively, financially, and personally.

I am incredibly excited for everything that is coming next, and I am even more grateful to have people supporting me along this journey.

What’s Coming Next ?

As busy as this season has been, I am even more excited about everything that is still to come.

  • This July, I will be hosting my next makeup class, Glow and Groove, which will focus on summer glam, beauty techniques, confidence, and creating a fun experience for everyone attending. Tickets will officially go on sale next week, if not sooner, and I cannot wait to share more details with you all.

  • I am also excited to announce that a Mommy and Me makeup class is currently in the works for September. Creating experiences that bring women, mothers, daughters, and families together in a positive and creative environment is something very close to my heart, and I know this event is going to be incredibly special.

  • In August, I will also be releasing new glosses that I have been working on behind the scenes. I am so excited for everyone to experience these new additions and everything else that is currently being developed for the brand.

There is so much more on the way, and I truly feel like this is only the beginning. Every lesson, every challenge, every late night, and every accomplishment is helping shape the future I have been praying and working for.

Thank you for believing in me.Thank you for supporting my businesses. And thank you for continuing to grow with me.

With love,

Jessica Elizabeth
